BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Business on Board®

Participate in a board training, placement and observership program that matches you with an arts organization of interest.

BOARDway Bound
Independent online learning, combined with 6 hours of classroom training, orients business professional to arts and culture board leadership. Upon program completion, participants art eligible for memberships in the BOARDway Bound Board Bank. Best suited for professionals who have a high potential for independent and engaging with the arts and culture community.

Business Volunteers for the Arts®
Utilize your professional skills in new and challenging ways while assisting on a project-based initiative with an arts client.

Arts/Business-Connection
For those with limited time, assist with short, one-day/evening needs, be it ushering, greeting event guests, or other similar tasks.

U-GRO
Help "gro" arts groups by objectively evaluating grant narratives from your own computer and offering feedback to help them more effectively request money.

Campaign Volunteer
If your employer runs a Fine Arts Fund campaign, offer to help out by becoming an Employee Campaign Coordinator within your company.


 

APPLY FOR GRANTS & ASSISTANCE

Project Support Grants
Apply for assistance to support special, one-time arts events or expand upon regular arts programming.

Operating Support Grants
Submit a proposal for unrestricted operating support for an eligible arts organization.

Multicultural Arts Capacity-Building Program Grants
Apply for assistance to support and strengthen multicultural arts organizations in an area of need.

Loans
The Working Capital Bridge Loan Fund responds to demonstrated, short-term, cash flow needs with a no-interest financial tool for small and mid-sized arts and culture organizations.

Volunteer Assistance
Request a Business Volunteer for the Arts (BVA)to assist your organization.
